Lake Victoria IslandsThe remote, isolated islands of Lake Victoria are woefully underserved in terms of healthcare and have little hope of showing up on any healthcare providers’ list in the future. MMC is dedicated to serving these communities, providing care to the most at-risk group that populate these islands — fishermen and women who have never before had health services available to them. We have facilities on three different islands:

who live in these small, rugged communities diverse people who hail from the East African countries bordering the lake: Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. These clinics offer a scaled-down set of relevant services, available 24-hours a day.
